memories of you

Hey there! Today starts a new week at Crafts 4 Eternity where we have a theme of less is more.

Although I often think my handimakes are more simple than I want them to be, when entering less is more challenges and being even more simple, I have been told I am a no, no. So I will let the blog police decide on this one!

I have created a very SIMPLE spiral bound book with hardly any decoration. I let the papers do the talking!

I have used papers from the My Mind's Eye ~ Lost & Found: Sunshine collection. These are beautiful!

I was naughty and added some bling to the title.

Also I added some Prima bling to the binding. But hardly any really!

The pages are simple pearlised gold and black.

Thank you for looking.

have your cake and eat it too

Hi there! My word, it is almost a month since I blogged. Somewhere along the way, I completely lost my crafting mojo, which kind of frightened me when I look at how much stash I have. I thought what on earth would I do with it all, if I never crafted again? Now there's a thought! Anyway, in the last few days I think I have recovered it, so panic over. Phew! But it's not nice when you lose your mojo!

Well, today we have a FOOD theme at Crafts 4 Eternity.

I decided to use this birthday cake paper that I've had in my stash for FOUR years! It is Heidi Grace ~ It's My Party.

I made a little bag in the middle using my Tim Holtz ~ In the Bag die. I love this die but hard to think of what to do with it other than uhmmm, make little bags!

I stuck it on the front and because it seemed strange to have an empty bag, I made a little book to put inside, with my left over scraps.

Excuse my colouring on this cute Tilda. I actually coloured her up a couple of years back to go with this very paper and then didn't do anything with it, fortunately I remembered her and decided to go with it. I would certainly colour her differently now, but I liked the bright colours of her.

I am entering this in at the following challenges:
